劇情:

1971年，反戰意識高漲的年代，東大畢業的沢田(妻夫木聰)是東都週刊的記者，在採訪左派運動的過程中，受到影響逐漸認同左派的革命精神，但卻又必須秉持著記者的立場而保持中立。因緣際會下，他認識了一名年輕的學運份子梅山(松山健一)，看著梅山神采飛揚描述著熱血革命的話題，沢田雖然心存懷疑，但改變世界的共同信念，卻讓他忍不住和梅山越走越近。隨著支持武裝革命的聲浪越來越高，梅山決定組成「赤邦軍」，秘密計劃對自衛隊基地展開襲擊，得知此計畫的沢田則提出獨家採訪的要求，在大時代的洪流之下，兩個年輕的革命靈魂，就要衝撞出最殘酷的火花。

Synopsis:

Based on Saburo Kawamoto’s autobiographical novel, the film is set during the student protests at Tokyo University. At the time, Kawamoto was working as a journalist covering the protests, which were in reaction to the Japanese government’s tolerance of US involvement in the Vietnam War and the use of Okinawa as a staging ground for that war.

A reporter named Sawada (Satoshi Tsumabuki) who interviews protesters and collects data on behalf of the editorial department of a weekly publication. As tensions ramp up in the late 60s, he meets a young activist who introduces himself as Umeyama (Kenichi Matsuyama), although his real name turns out to be Katagiri. Katagiri tells him “Guns and other weapons are being gathered. In April, we’ll take action.” Sawada has serious misgivings about Katagiri, but the two men strike up a strange rapport during a uniquely turbulent era.
