劇情:

吳英雄(趙又廷)正義過頭，南區分局重案特勤組，一辦案隨即砸毀整座城市，被組長勒令外勤，卻固執追尋一宗離奇案件。而城市的另一頭，最大黑幫三聯會的西岸堂口，年紀最大的三級幹部徐達夫(黃渤)，正將堂主的十萬現金偷偷拿去做鑽石買賣。闇黑的貨櫃倉儲區，交易到手的達夫，突然遭受一支重裝隊伍亂槍掃射攻擊，混亂中，循著線索來到現場的英雄就此碰上達夫，而災難就從這一刻開始了。一波又一波的追殺迎面而來，兩個最不應該在一起的人，英雄為了辦案拖著達夫，達夫為了活命跟著英雄，當所有的狙殺掃過時，他們發現不管多討厭對方，他們都得待在一-起，因為那口裝著鑽石的箱子沒那麼簡單，36個小時後，海港城將面臨毀滅的危機，而真正的敵人永遠都比他們快一步…。

Synopsis:

Set in a fictional metropolis named Harbor City, the movie begins with an illegal diamond deal gone wrong as small-time gangster Xu Da Fu (Huang Bo), finds there is more than one buyer salivating over his smuggled gems. A group of military men intercept the case of diamonds, killing everyone on the spot but Xu. He is rescued by Hero Wu (Mark Chao) a young, upright police officer who believes there is no gray area in justice. It does not take long before the two are targeted and chased by rival hit men and militants.

The story unfolds when beautiful scientist Fan Ning (Angelababy) comes along, explaining that the whole hullabaloo is not about the diamonds, but what else the case contains: an anti-matter bomb that could destroy humanity if it falls into the wrong hands.

The villains, in this case, are a militant group from Pawanda, a make-believe country in Southeast Asia, which is planning to set off the bomb in the city.
